| | To begin a search select a field from the drop down selections and then enter the text you
want to search for. For example, if you want all titles with the word 'surgery' in
them, select Title Search then type 'surgery' into the search box and press the search
button, or to search for anything related to 'surgery', including items with a similar root
word, type 'surg*' into the search box and press the search button.

| Select the full view of a record by clicking on the title from the search retrieval list. You
may then find related records by clicking on a specific Find All link. Note: be aware that
these links will retrieve only records in the same template ie. Journals, Books, or Media.
To search all templates collectively select Catalog, which is the recommended method
of searching. The system will always indicate which template you are searching in, and
the drop down field search menu selections for the individual templates ie. Journals,
Books, or Media will always be followed by a series of dots.
